Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Auburn, Washington. The role includes 13 weeks of travel assignment with 48 hours per week, nights, in a Birth Center.

Qualifications require 2 years of RN experience with postpartum exposure and certifications BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring. EPIC is preferred for EMR usage; scrubs and on-site scrub tech are available. NP on call and multilingual population noted.

Job Description & Requirements

Clinical Interviews

Experience Required: 2 years experience; must be comfortable with/had some exposure to post-partum; Will consider first time traveler

Certifications: BLS, NRP, fetal monitoring

Skills required: strong L&D experience: must be able to do cervical exams, antepartum and labors, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, Pitocin; must be able to circulate C-sections; baby catching/receiving (required); APGAR; breastfeeding knowledge
Post-Partum: strongly prefer comfort with all aspects of post-partum care from transition to discharge for mom and baby
Scrub experience is a bonus; there is always a Scrub Tech on site, scrub trained RNs are occasionally used for sick calls etc.

Beds: 20 total; 12 L&D, 8 PP/AP (3 OB/ED rooms, 2 OR); 6 bed level II NICU
