American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Oakland, CA. Start ASAP. You will work 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, at 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipends and travel/licensure reimbursements.

Active CA RN license is required, with at least 1 year of recent L&D experience. BLS/NRP certifications are mandatory; Epic EMR experience is preferred. Housing and benefits are provided as part of a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent full-time Labor & Delivery experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

• Epic EMR experience preferred.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California with night shifts and current CA RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Cares for high-risk labor and delivery patients
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Responsible for nursing care of laboring mothers, including high-risk cases
• Must provide last four digits of SSN and date of birth for consideration
• Local and travel candidates are both accepted at the same rate
• Assignment is limited to a maximum tenure per HR policy, with requirements for breaks in between extended assignments
• COVID and Flu vaccination may be required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of application
• Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

• Preferred: Over 5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years
• Preferred: At least 1 year of high-risk L&D experience within the last 2 years
