American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery (LDRP) in Kokomo, Indiana. The role requires a valid RN license, BLS and NRP certification, and at least 2 years of L&D experience. You’ll work 12-hour nights in a busy unit with 24/7 support from OB/GYNs and other specialists.

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Current NRP certification from AHA/AAP required.

• Must provide US SSN and US home address.

Responsibilities

• Work in a combined Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery (LDRP) unit.
• Provide nursing care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery patients.
• Collaborate with OB/GYNs, laborists, midwives, and respiratory therapists 24/7.
• Manage night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 in a 12-hour schedule.
• Support a team-based environment with physicians and allied health staff.

Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery (LDRP) unit position requiring BLS and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a combined Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery (LDRP) unit
• Unit consists of 8 labor rooms, 12 postpartum rooms, and 4 special care nursery beds
• Handles approximately 700 deliveries annually
• Collaborative care team includes OB/GYNs, laborists, midwives, and respiratory therapists available 24/7
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Provide nursing care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and special care nursery patients
• Team-based environment with round-the-clock support from physicians and allied health
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• All travelers are considered auto offer for assignment
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate in accordance with state radius rules

Requirements
