Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Massachusetts requiring Neuro IR and stroke expertise.

Travel assignment in Boston features a 40-hour work week with day shifts, on-call requirements, and a focus on high-acuity procedures in a Level I Trauma setting. Active MA RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration.
• Current BLS and any other required certifications must be active.
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience.
• Must have Neuro IR and stroke nursing experience.
• Proficiency in independently reading and interpreting telemetry strips.
• Ability to pass a telemetry test with a score of 85% or higher on day one.
• Completion of Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test A or B is required.

• Department features 5 procedure rooms handling CT and ultrasound-guided procedures.
• Daily caseload typically includes 12-16 cases with an average patient ratio of 1:1 and up to 6-7 patients per day.
• Work schedule consists of day shifts with a combination of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts and no set day off.
• On-call required during nights, weekends, and one major holiday per schedule period, with a 30-minute call back time.
• On-call rooms are available if required.
• Main responsibilities include supporting Neuro IR and stroke procedures and interpreting telemetry.
• Team handles high-acuity procedures in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma environment.
