Job Summary:
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Nursing position located in Denver, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with accepted practice standards, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The nurse will provide health teaching, counseling, and support to promote patient well-being within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 1900-0730, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school of nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIH (National Institutes of Health) certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• Additional Information: Performs health data assessments, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment, medical functions delegation, patient referral, treatment plan monitoring, detailed documentation, and resource utilization. The position may require floating to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications and being on-call during a scheduled shift.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
