This role involves providing specialized patient care within a fast-paced, Level I trauma center, focusing on adult patients with diverse diagnoses, including neurological, cardiovascular, and post-surgical cases.

Job Details

• Position: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) / Stepdown / PCU RN
• Shift: 3x12 Days (0645-1915), with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license, BLS and NIHSS certifications, minimum 1-year experience in telemetry, neuro stepdown, or PCU/IMC/Stepdown, familiarity with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, ventilator care, and post-procedure patient management
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification, hospital or trauma Level I experience, Cerner charting system experience, teaching hospital experience
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, with attendance required every other weekend and up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) within reasonable limits.
• Additional Information: Clinicians may float within scope to meet facility needs. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced environment with high patient throughput, including ventilated patients and those requiring complex cardiac and neurological care.
