Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) The organization is seeking an experienced RN to provide patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced Level II Trauma Center. The role involves managing moderately complex assessments, therapies, and interventions for a diverse patient population, including stroke, sepsis, cardiac, and respiratory cases. The position requires strong clinical skills, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the ability to adapt to variable scheduling demands.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: NV RN license required prior to start; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; at least 2 years of IMC/Stepdown experience, including drip titrations, ventilated patients, transvenous pacemaker management, neuro/stroke patients; experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, arterial lines, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, trach management; pass ECG/Telemetry exam with rhythm strip interpretation. Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Medical/Neuro ICU experience highly preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to support unit needs and competency levels.
• Additional Information: Travelers must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays, including holiday shifts, with flexibility for weekend work. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a busy, high-acuity environment, contributing to the organizations focus on clinical excellence and patient safety.
