Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Clackamas, Oregon. The assignment is 13 weeks long with 36 hours per week across 12-hour shifts in a travel role.

Responsibilities include critical care nursing, monitoring and instruments, medication administration, ventilator management, and CPR readiness. Requires active RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS per facility rules.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• One year of critical care experience is preferred.
• Minimum of one year acute or critical care experience preferred.
• Current BLS card; current ACLS/PALS card (per facility requirement).
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU patient care following nursing standards.
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, and clinical assessments.
• Perform ventilator management, medication administration, IV insertion and care.

Consistently performsaccording to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care andassisting others in the management of patient care. Responsibilities includemonitoring, assessment, vital sign monitoring, ventilator management,medication administration, intravenous insertion and infusion, central linecare, catheters, and maintenance of a running record of the patient’s status.The Critical Care RN must be prepared at all times to perform cardiopulmonaryresuscitation and other lifesaving measures for the patients in their care.
