Position Details

Registered Nurse Traveler CV OR

• 1-2 years of previous CV experience required. Must be able to scrub.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication, leads efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Position Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current IL RN license
• 1 Year CV OR experience. Must be able to scrub.
• Current AHA CPR certification
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts to accommodate staffing needs
• May require taking call depending on the position
• Work environment includes potential exposure to adverse, hazardous, or unpleasant conditions while caring for patients
• Ability to assist in evacuation of patients during emergencies
• Regularly works with potentially infectious specimens and patients
• Respond promptly to patient needs and access all areas of the unit
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance; for heavier lifts, patient handling equipment and team support are expected
