Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions partners with CHS to offer travel nursing opportunities across a nationwide network of facilities.

This position is a travel role based in Carlsbad, NM, with 8, 10, or 13 week assignments depending on facility need. You will provide direct patient care, including meds and treatments, while collaborating with care teams and supporting patient education and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Certifications as required for specific position.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medications, specimens, clinical treatments, and documentation.
• Monitor and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient and family.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges and referrals.
• Educate patient/family appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
