Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This travel role features a 36-hour workweek with 12-hour day shifts and a nationwide network through HealthTrust's family of facilities.

The successful candidate will provide plan of care, monitor patient status, collaborate with care teams, and educate patients and families. At least 1 year of acute care experience and an active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year acute care in hospital setting
• Current state nursing license
• Appropriate certifications as required
• Degree from accredited school
• Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies
• Ability to communicate clearly in English

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions including medications and treatments
• Monitor patient condition and communicate to care team and family
• Collaborate across disciplines for care coordination and transfers
• Educate patient and family appropriate to age and condition
• Advocate for patient wellbeing
