Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in the Boston area at BIDMC. Requires ARRT(N) or CNMT, MA RT license if needed, and BLS. 1 year of academic medical center experience preferred; PET/CT experience is a plus. 40 hours/week, days, 8-hour shifts.

Contract-based hours with no on-call. Responsibilities include venipuncture, injector operation, and image management to PACS, with strict adherence to ALARA and USP 825 safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience at an academic medical center; PET/CT experience preferred.
• ARRT (N) or CNMT certification required; MA RT license if not current; BLS-AHA required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and glucometer testing.
• Operate Siemens Biograph mCT 64 and Medrad Intego injector.
• Handle unit doses of FDG and radiopharmaceuticals and push images to PACS (MIM/McKesson).
• Maintain strict radiation safety per ALARA and USP 825.
