Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Passaic, NJ. The role requires 1 year of NMT experience, BLS, and ARRT(N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification with state licensure as needed.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, operating the scanner, radiopharmaceutical injections under radiologist supervision, and strict adherence to safety and record-keeping practices. Travel pay package and shifts are described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience as an NMT.
• BLS and national certification ARRT(N) or NMTCB-CNMT with state licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Attain approval signatures by nuclear medicine physicians.
• Position patients and prepare for procedures.
• Operate the gamma camera/scanner.
• Perform radiopharmaceutical injections under radiologist supervision.
• Assist patients during procedures.
• Maintain safety and radiation disposal procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use PACS system.
