Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in West Islip, NY. The role requires 1 year of experience, BLS, ARRT(N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification, and applicable state licensing. You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, administer them, and operate imaging equipment under radiologist supervision.

The position runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, day shifts, and a travel employment arrangement. Competitive benefits are offered through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• BLS certification and ARRT(N) or NMTCB-CNMT with state licensing where required.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and administer to patients.
• Operate scanner or gamma camera.
• Assist physicians and radiologists during procedures.
• Maintain patient records and ensure radiation safety.
