Job summary

Preferred Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Apple Valley, CA. Start ASAP; 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts in a travel role.

Responsibilities include administering radiopharmaceuticals, acquiring diagnostic images, and ensuring patient comfort. Requires 2 years of recent experience, ARRT and NMTCB certifications, and CPR/BLS. Join a dedicated team at an acute care facility.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience within the last five years.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT and NMTCB certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Put patients at ease, obtain medical histories and describe procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for imaging/therapeutic procedures.
• Monitor patient’s condition during procedures.
• Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology.
• Provide images and data for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
