Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Staten Island, NY. The 8-week role offers 37.5 hours per week with day shifts and an 8-hour schedule.

Responsibilities include preparing radiopharmaceuticals, administering them, and imaging with scanners and cameras, while ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation. Candidates must have 1 year of relevant experience, BLS, ARRT(N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification, and state licensing where required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine.
• BLS certification and ARRT(N) or NMTCB-CNMT registration.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and handle radiopharmaceutical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and administer them to patients.
• Operate the scanner or gamma camera for imaging.
• Inject radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist supervision.
• Position and instruct patients prior to procedures.
• Maintain patient records and ensure safety protocols.
• Utilize McKesson PACS for image handling and documentation.
