Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, holds BLS, ARRT (N) or NMTCB-CNMT, and any required state licensing.

Responsibilities include patient prep, radiopharmaceutical administration, equipment operation, and strict safety practices. Position requires day shifts, 40 hours per week, and travel responsibilities with potential stipend arrangements.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (N), NMTCB (CNMT), and state-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Attend required approvals and signatures by nuclear medicine physicians.
• Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures.
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
• Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under direct supervision of a radiologist.
• Provide assistance to patients during procedures.
• Ensure safety and radiation disposal procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
