Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. This 13-week travel role requires 40 hours per week with day shifts, and prior experience as an NMT is essential.

Requirements include BLS, ARRT (N), NMTCB-CNMT certifications and state licensing where required. The position offers travel benefits and a tax-free stipend where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods
• Sound knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Responsibilities

• Operate the scanner or gamma camera.
• Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures.
• Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist supervision.
• Provide assistance to patients during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Ensure radiation safety procedures are followed.
