Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The Nuclear Medicine Tech will perform radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration, operate imaging equipment, and capture high-quality studies for physician interpretation.

The position requires a degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field, NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification, state licensure if applicable, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
• Certification from NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT (N) required.
• State licensure (if applicable).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent nuclear medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures.
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture accurate images.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Analyze images and collaborate with physicians on diagnostic findings.
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards.
• Document patient records, imaging results, and dosage information.
