Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The position is outpatient, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts over a 13-week period.

The successful candidate will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, monitor patient safety, and collaborate with physicians to interpret results. NMTCB/ARRT certification and BLS are required, with state licensure if applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
• Certification from NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT (N) required.
• State licensure (if applicable).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures.
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture accurate images.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Analyze images and collaborate with physicians on diagnostic findings.
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards.
• Document patient records, imaging results, and dosage information.
