Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, IN. The travel NMT will work 40 hours per week, days shift, with 8-hour shifts and travel compensation details as posted.

1 year of experience and ARRT (N) and NMTCB-CNMT certifications are required, along with BLS and state licensing where applicable. As an NMT, you will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, administer them, and capture images using a scanner or gamma camera.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine required.
• ARRT (N) certification and NMTCB-CNMT certification with registration.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and administer them to patients.
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
• Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures.
• Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under supervision.
• Provide assistance to patients during procedures.
• Ensure safety and radiation disposal procedures are followed at all times.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
