Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Munster, IN. The NMT will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, administer tracers, and image patients with a scanner, under radiologist supervision. Requires 1 year of experience, BLS, and appropriate national certification.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, safety practices, and accurate record-keeping using PACS. Travel position offers a tax-free stipend and 40-hour weeks, days shift.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as an NMT
• Certification in NM or Nuclear Medicine with registration

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents and administer them to patients
• Operate the scanner or gamma camera to capture images
• Assist physicians and radiologists during procedures
• Ensure safety and radiation disposal procedures are followed
• Maintain accurate patient records and use McKesson PACS
• Provide patient care and positioning during procedures
