We're looking for a Travel Nuc Med Tech in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry, based in Hackensack, New Jersey, United States.

Pay Rate: $3,200 - $4,500 a week

Are you a Nuclear Medicine Technologist seeking to advance your career with an innovative company renowned for Medical Imaging?

This role functions as a MI SPECT Technologist, performing examinations of patients of all ages to assist in diagnosing illnesses. You will also serve as a training resource.

This is a travel role—assignments are 3-12 months long at top-quality facilities, with a weekly per diem in addition to your contract pay.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform MI SPECT diagnostic imaging procedures according to department protocols.
2. Locate and record internal body elements, identifying anomalies indicative of disease or injury.
3. Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts.
4. Monitor patients for physical and emotional changes.
5. Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
6. Review tests with peers and physicians.
7. Inform physicians of preliminary findings as needed.
8. Distribute test results to physicians and service providers.
9. Prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
10. Maintain patient charts, enter diagnosis and billing codes, log data, and update records.
11. Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
12. Recognize equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
13. Instruct patients in pretest preparations and answer questions.
14. Perform additional duties as required.
