Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Greenwich, CT. You will work a 40-hour week, with an 8-hour daytime shift, helping diagnose and treat patients while traveling and enjoying the support of a dedicated clinical team.

The role requires a Nuclear Medicine Tech license, one year of experience, and BLS certification. Benefits include competitive pay, benefits, and licensure/CEU reimbursement as part of our traveler program.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech.
• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures and addresses questions
• Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment for proper functioning and safety
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and other medications according to established protocols
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions to radioactive drugs or other medications
• Operates imaging equipment to create images as ordered
• Documents procedure details in patient records for continuity of care
