Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing‑Radiology seeks a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Springfield, MA. The position involves a 40‑hour workweek, days shift, and travel compensation with comprehensive benefits. You will join a dedicated clinical team and have opportunities to impact patient care across diverse settings.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience, a current state license, and BLS certification. ARRT/CNMT credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

1 year of experience as Nuclear Medicine Tech
Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license per state regulations
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures and addresses questions
Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment and ensures radiation safety compliance
Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and other medications per protocols
Monitors patients for adverse reactions and intervenes as needed
Operates imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images per physician orders
Documents procedure details in patient records for continuity of care
Follows radiation safety rules to minimize exposure
Performs other duties as assigned within Nuclear Medicine Technologist practice
