Job summary

Medasource is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in Lafayette, Indiana. The role involves preparing and administering radioactive tracers, operating imaging equipment, and providing compassionate patient care for diverse age groups.

This 13-week assignment offers four 10-hour shifts with day/evening coverage and on-call rotation. Start date is 11/30/2026, and travel workers receive standard benefits through Medasource.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT Nuclear Medicine (RT(NM)) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification, or recent graduation from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Nuclear Medicine Technologist license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification may be required, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures and imaging studies according to physician orders.
• Prepare and administer radioactive medications and tracers as required.
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
• Position patients appropriately to obtain accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
• Review patient histories and explain procedures to ensure patient understanding and cooperation.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and departmental policies.
• Provide care and support to patients of all age groups.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as required.
