Job summary

Medasource is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract in Lafayette, Indiana. The role features four 10-hour day shifts (40 hours/week) with on-call responsibilities and a 13-week duration.

The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging using radiopharmaceuticals and must hold ARRT NM or NMTCB CNMT certification or be a recent graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine program. Indiana ISDH license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT NM or NMTCB CNMT certification or recent graduate of approved Nuclear Medicine program.
• Current Indiana ISDH Nuclear Medicine Technologist license.
• BLS certification required.
• ALS certification may be required depending on facility requirements.
• Ability to operate imaging equipment and adjust patient positioning as needed.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive pharmaceuticals.
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients during imaging procedures.
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Follow physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Ensure proper handling and administration of radioactive materials.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and quality care during procedures.

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to evaluate organ function, identify abnormalities, and assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive pharmaceuticals.
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients during imaging procedures.
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Ensure proper handling and administration of radioactive materials.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and quality care throughout procedures.
• Work with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations.

Requirements

• Active ARRT Nuclear Medicine RT(NM) certification or NMTCB Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT), or recent graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine training program.
• Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Nuclear Medicine Technologist license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification may be required depending on facility requirements.
• Ability to operate imaging equipment and adjust patient positioning as needed.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient care.

Schedule

• Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts
• Hours: 40 hours per week

Total Pay Package

$3,522.00/week
