Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Encinitas, CA. This role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated clinical team.

You will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure radiation safety compliance while delivering high-quality patient care. Travel benefits and full support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech
• Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Educates patients about nuclear medicine procedures and addresses questions
• Maintains and inspects nuclear medicine equipment for proper functioning and safety
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions to radioactive drugs or other meds
• Operates imaging equipment to create images as ordered
• Documents procedure details in patient records for continuity of care
• Follows hospital safety rules and radiation safety procedures
• Performs other duties within Nuclear Medicine Technologist scope
