Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an assignment in Encinitas, California. The role requires 1 year of NMT experience, ARRT(N) or NMTCB-CNMT certification, and BLS with state licensing as needed.

Start date is 11/02/2026 for 13 weeks, with a 40-hour work week. Responsibilities include radiopharmaceutical injections under radiologist supervision, patient positioning, operating scanners, maintaining patient records, and following radiation safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year of NMT experience is required.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT(N) or NMTCB-CNMT) and active registration.
• BLS certification and any required state license when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Obtain approvals and signatures by nuclear medicine physicians.
• Position and prep patients for procedures and operate equipment.
• Perform procedures including radiopharmaceutical injections under radiologist supervision.
• Assist patients during procedures and maintain safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS systems.
