Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel contract in Washington, DC. The role involves preparing radiopharmaceuticals and obtaining high-quality diagnostic images for physicians in a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate holds NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification, possesses 1–2 years of nuclear medicine experience, and has BLS. The assignment is 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, dayshift, in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
• Certification from NMTCB or ARRT (N) required
• State licensure (if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent nuclear medicine experience
• Strong technical expertise, safety knowledge, and patient care focus

Responsabilités

• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture accurate images
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Analyze images and collaborate with physicians on diagnostic findings
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards
• Document patient records, imaging results, and dosage information
