Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Towson, Maryland. The role requires 1 year of experience, with a 13-week duration and 40 hours weekly, daytime shifts. You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, perform injections, and operate imaging equipment under radiologist supervision.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, safety practices, record-keeping, and PACS usage. Certifications required include ARRT(N), ARRT(R), NMTCB-CNMT, and BLS, with state licensing as

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in nuclear medicine.
• AR RT (N) certification and NMTCB-CNMT.
• BLS certification.
• State-specific licensing where required.

Responsibilities

• Attain required approval and signature by nuclear medicine physicians
• Position patients for procedures and provide instructions
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera
• Perform radiopharmaceutical injections under radiologist supervision
• Provide assistance to patients during procedures
• Follow safety and radiation disposal procedures to keep environment safe
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
