Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking Nuclear Medicine Technologists for flexible, local and travel assignments in the Ann Arbor area. The program offers premium compensation and a pathway through Trinity Health's travel staffing solution.

The role involves performing Nuclear Medicine imaging, maintaining ALARA safety, and collaborating with Radiology leadership across multiple sites to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher required.
• Eighteen (18) months of Nuclear Medicine experience required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and ARRT registered.
• State of Indiana Radiologic License.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• Willingness to float throughout the hospital and across multiple locations.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.

Responsibilities

• Review physician order and reason for exam, prepare patient, position and perform Nuclear Medicine imaging.
• Collaborate with Nuclear Medicine leadership and Radiologist to produce the most diagnostic images per department protocols.
• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain images with ALARA techniques.
• Work with unit staff and FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidenced-based care.

What You Will Do

• FirstChoice Nuclear Medicine Techs are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system, and we need you to be a part of this innovative program!

Responsibilities

• The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for reviewing the Physician Order and reason for exam, preparing the patient, positioning, and performing Nuclear Medicine imaging of patients.
• The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works closely with Nuclear Medicine leadership and the Radiologist to produce the most diagnostic images possible in accordance with the department protocols.
• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain images of the designated body portions for interpretation by physicians, with attention to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) techniques.
• Collaborate with members of assigned unit as well as FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidenced based care within a healing culture for patients as well as families.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher required.
• Eighteen (18) months of Nuclear Medicine experience required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as Nuclear Medicine Tech by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• State of Indiana Radiologic License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. (Note: American Heart Association certifications only accepted.)
• Willingness to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
