Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU for a travel job in Charlottesville, Virginia. The position requires NICU-level expertise and an RRT certification, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts in a Level 4 NICU setting for pediatric patients.

The role offers a self-scheduling model with the possibility of weekend and holiday coverage. A Virginia license (or temporary license) is needed, along with BLS and NRP certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 4 NICU experience.
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred.
• Valid RRT certification, BLS, and NRP required.
• ACCS certification preferred.
• Must possess a state license in addition to a pending Virginia license; a temporary license should be obtained prior to starting.

Responsabilités

• Provide respiratory care to neonatal patients in a Level 4 NICU.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in the management and treatment of patients with complex respiratory needs.
• Utilize advanced practices and protocols in cardiac PICU as needed.
• Engage in self-scheduling, with the expectation to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
