Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a NICU RN for a 24-week travel assignment in Phoenix, AZ. Start date 10/12/2026, 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts. Travel position with competitive pay and full benefits.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of NICU experience, current RN license, BLS, and NRP certification, with preferred neonatal certifications. You’ll work in a facility in Phoenix and be supported by a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a neonatal intensive care RN.
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.
Current NRP certification.

Responsibilities

Assess and monitor critically ill and premature newborns, documenting conditions and responses.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments per NICU nursing techniques.
Perform neonatal assessments including vital signs and screenings.
Operate NICU equipment such as ventilators, CPAP, and infusion pumps.
Assist with life-saving procedures and procedures such as intubation as needed.
Educate and support parents on neonatal care and feeding techniques.
