Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU for a 14-week assignment in Gilbert, Arizona. This role offers night shifts, 36 hours per week, and the chance to care for critically ill neonates in a NICU with a supportive clinical team.
One year of NICU experience, active RN license, BLS and NRP are required. Strong assessment, teamwork, and family-centered care are essential, with competitive pay and benefits provided by Fusion.

Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a neonatal intensive care RN
- Current RN license in good standing per state regulations
- BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- NRP certification required
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor critically ill and premature neonates
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per neonatal care standards
- Perform neonatal assessments including vitals, weight, and screenings
- Operate NICU equipment (ventilators, CPAP, infusion pumps)
- Assist with life-saving procedures (umbilical line placement, intubation)
- Educate parents on neonatal care and feeding techniques
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during exams and procedures
- Develop individualized care plans with the multi-disciplinary team
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with neonatologists and therapists to optimize outcomes
- Perform other duties within scope as needed
- Comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
