Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Neonatal NICU travel nurse to join our team in Plano, TX. The NICU RN will provide critical care to sick and premature infants, support families, and work 12‑hour night shifts on a 36‑hour workweek for a 13‑week assignment.

Requires 1 year of acute care experience, active BLS and NRP certifications, and additional certifications may be required before starting. Travel pay includes a tax‑free stipend and weekly pay options where available.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• NRP certification required.
• ≥1 year of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for infants transitioning to extrauterine life.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action as needed.
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
• Monitor and adjust equipment such as incubators and ventilators.
