Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a NICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Winchester, TN. The role involves caring for critically ill neonates, operating NICU equipment, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a neonatal intensive care RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and monitors critically ill and premature newborns and documents changes.
• Administers medications and treatments per neonatal nursing techniques.
• Performs neonatal assessments including vital signs, weights, and screenings.
• Operates NICU equipment such as ventilators and CPAP machines.
• Assists with life-saving and diagnostic procedures including intubation.
• Educates and supports parents on neonatal care and feeding techniques.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans with the team.
• Adheres to infection control and regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with neonatologists and therapists to optimize outcomes.
