Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Travel RN specialized in NICU for Webster, TX. This 13-week assignment features 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts (D/N, rotating), and a competitive pay package.

You will provide direct care to NICU patients, administer medications, monitor vents and equipment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates are proficient in EMB tasks, comfortable with NG/OG tubes and CPAP/high flow support, and capable of documenting interventions in

Qualifications

• Safe medication administration including calculation of medications.
• Administer medications and EMB using the 5 patient rights.
• Appropriate handling of EMB and care of NG/OG tubes.
• Care of patients with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Nasal Cannula.
• Care for patients with PIVs, PICCs, UAC/UVC.
• Safely care for patients 22 weeks and above.
• Understands use of all NICU equipment.
• Promotes safe sleeping at 32-34 gestation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients in a hospital setting.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions, including ventilator and equipment management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for patient care plans.
• Document patient interventions accurately in the EMR.
