Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 12-bed Level III-B NICU in Montana. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Level III/IV NICU experience, an active MT or Compact RN license, and BLS/NRP certifications.

You will float to OB and Peds, work 12-hour night shifts, and participate in orientation. Travel nurses receive housing, licensure reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MT or Compact) in hand.
• BLS and NRP required; STABLE preferred or within 1 year of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of Level III/IV NICU experience.
• Experience with IV therapy, antibiotics, blood products, trach/g-tube/ostomy care, labs.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 12-bed Level III-B NICU.
• Average census 9–10 patients per day.
• Infants 23 weeks gestation and above.
• Diagnoses include HIE, oscillators, nitric therapy, feeders/growers, neurosurgical cases; no cardiac/ECMO.
• RN to patient ratio 1:1–2 (acuity); 1:3 for feeders/growers.
• 12-hour night shifts 1855–0730.
• Self-scheduling with 6-week rotations and weekend shifts.
• Float to OB and Peds with orientation.
• No on-call requirements.
