Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced NICU RN for a Level III Days position at Magnet Hospital in Indiana. The shift is 3x12 hours for 36 hours per week on a 13-week contract, starting around Oct 4, 2026.

The role requires an active IN (or compact) RN license, 2+ years NICU experience, and current BLS and NRP certifications, with Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start. Local candidates may be considered, with accompanying travel pay and stipends.

Qualifications

• Active IN or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans, tracking and communicating patient condition.
• Serves as primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
• Carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
