• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support.

Physical Requirements

Peds-RRTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty, and easily lift 20 pounds. Movement or lifting of patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds at times. Must have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications

Must have 1 year of experience. Must have NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
