Qualifications

• Valid BLS and NRP certifications.
• Minimum 2 years NICU experience; Level II-III preferred.
• Familiarity with HFOV, central lines, vents, CPAP, NIPPV and EMR systems.

Position

Position: RN in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Responsibilities

Provide specialized care for neonatal patients in a busy, team-oriented NICU, following unit protocols. Responsibilities include managing patient care on 12-hour day shifts, adhering to staffing ratios (1:1 to 1:4), and ensuring compliance with dress code and policies. The role involves working in a 41-bed unit with a focus on teamwork, safety, and quality care.

Qualifications & Skills

Valid BLS and NRP certifications, 2+ years of NICU experience (Level II-III preferred), familiarity with advanced equipment such as HFOV, central lines, vents, CPAP, NIPPV, and EMR systems. Experience with procedures like surgery, respiratory support, and micro-premie care is advantageous. Ability to work weekend shifts with no on-call required.
