MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Registered Nurse (RN) with neonatal intensive care (NICU) experience for a 13‑week assignment in Washington, District of Columbia, starting 06/22/2026. The assignment is a 12‑hour night shift, 36 hours per week, paid travel nursing.

Requirements

• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting
• Active RN license
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• Additional client‑specific requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

The RN demonstrates clinical judgment and critical thinking with supervision. The RN will perform according to nursing standards, manage patient care, and assist colleagues.

• Provide direct and specialized care for newborns requiring close monitoring due to prematurity, birth defects, infection, or other medical conditions that may require surgery or therapy.
• Work in the NICU with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in developing and implementing plans of care for high‑risk newborns requiring high‑technology equipment such as ventilators or incubators.
