Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a Travel RN in Med Surg for a Neuroscience floor in Springfield, MA. The nurse will deliver comprehensive neurological care to patients with stroke, epilepsy, and neurosurgical conditions during a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week.

Night shift, 12-hour shifts; start date 10/12/2026. This travel role offers housing options, competitive pay, and benefits; completion of NIHSS annually is expected, with BLS and nursing license in good standing.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in neuroscience or medical-surgical neurology.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association and NIHSS certification annually with 5 stroke CEUs.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized neurological nursing care to neuroscience patients.
• Monitor neurological status and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure patient safety, quality of care, and adherence to hospital policies.
