Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro ICU for a travel assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS and ACLS, and 18 months of Neuro ICU experience.
You will provide care for adults with life-threatening brain-related conditions, manage ventilators and other life-support equipment, and document all care meticulously. Travel allowances, housing options, and industry benefits are offered through MedPro.
Qualifications
- Active RN License
- Degree from accredited nursing program
- BLS & ACLS Certification
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Neuro ICU setting
- Other requirements to be determined by our client facility
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and educate family members.
- Ensure functioning of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
- Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for distress.
- Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
- Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
- Assist in emergency nursing procedures for rapid changes in condition.
- Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
