Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro ICU for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio. This travel role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and ICU competencies. You will support patient families, monitor ICU patients, and work 12-hour shifts on a 13-week assignment.

Compensation includes a tax-free stipend and weekly pay with guaranteed hours; benefits and travel arrangements are provided by TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIH certification and other certifications may be required.
• Current RN license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in the ICU.
• Document and provide physician-directed care and care plans.
• Delegate tasks to other team members as needed.
• Educate and support patient families.
• Provide basic bedside care and medication administration.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and monitor equipment.
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters and tubes.
• Communicate patient conditions to families.
