Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks an ICU travel nurse for an assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care ICU experience and current ACLS/BLS certifications. The role includes 36 hours per week on 12-hour rotating shifts for 13 weeks, with tax-free stipends as applicable.

As an ICU RN, you will evaluate and monitor critically ill patients, document care, and support families. You should be prepared to perform bedside care, administer meds, order tests, and interpret results

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care ICU experience required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIH certification or equivalent may be required.
• Travel assignment availability with 13 weeks duration.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside, direct ICU care and monitoring.
• Administer and document prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work.
• Monitor equipment, ensure catheter and tubing placement.
• Communicate patient conditions clearly to family members.
