Job summary

Jobot is hiring for an electrical tester to perform acceptance and maintenance testing on high-voltage systems, ensuring safety and reliability across industrial, commercial, and government operations. The role requires traveling 40-50% of the year and offers company vehicles and relocation support.

You will inspect, test, and troubleshoot power systems, collect equipment data, and ensure compliance with NETA and safety standards. A strong focus on accuracy and communication is essential.

Qualifications

• NETA Level 2 or 3 certification required.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory and testing equipment such as multimeters and insulation resistance testers.
• Familiarity with NETA, NEC, OSHA, NFPA standards.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical acceptance and maintenance testing.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot power systems including switchgear, transformers, and breakers.
• Collect data from electrical equipment.
• Ensure equipment and systems are safe and reliable per NETA standards.
• Conduct start-up procedures for new electrical equipment.
