Job summary
Acuren is recruiting NDT Level II Technicians (RT/MT/PT/UT) to support operations in Davenport, IA. This callout/travel position requires setting up and calibrating NDT equipment, performing tests, interpreting radiographs, and reporting results on-site. Candidates should hold Level II certifications and have a background in NDT methods; some college is preferred and safety practices are essential.
Qualifications
Requires certification as Level II in RT, MT, PT, UT
Experience interpreting radiographs and reports
Ability to set up and calibrate NDT equipment
Responsibilities
Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods
Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring safety
Apply testing criteria per specifications or standards and evaluate results
Interpret radiographs, CRT, digital readouts, conductivity meters and indicators
Organize and report test results
Perform specialized inspections
May instruct and supervise others
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
