Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks an organized NDT Instructor for long-term travel, supporting Focus Factory Training initiatives. You will instruct multiple NDT courses, oversee supplier instructors, and assess hands-on training while upholding strict safety and procedural standards.

The role requires travel to Focus Factory locations and collaboration with site leadership to ensure high-quality training and compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4+ years of NDT trade experience with relevant MDD codes.
• 2+ years of Electric Boat experience.
• Instructing/teaching experience is required.
• Leadership experience (working leader, MDU, SS ETC) is valued.

Responsibilities

• Instruct multiple NDT classroom courses.
• Provide oversight of supplier embedded instructors.
• Direct and assess hands-on training with tests.
• Enforce safety rules during training and audits.
• Assess student performance and non-conformance to procedures.
